Depends what one you buy. The ones we trained on we're up-armored Deere 240D's. we lifted 4,000# concrete barriers fully extended over the side.

Fully extended over the side they gotta be good for at least 10k. Too ba there was no way to get a hold of that much steel to scrap

That's a massive hy-ex. Especially considering the militarized versions have a 1.5' shorter dipper I believe. We had both out there. If I lifted from the front and kept it close I could handle that chain no problem.
