Default Wheel/tire Combo

I have looked and looked for wheel and tire options. Problem is i mainly see people getting aftermarket 20 inch rims. I like the look of small rim with bigger tire. Looks better and more practical offroad imo. So with a bilstein 5100 lift maxed in front and rear add a leaf can i fit a 315 70 17 (34.4 12.4 17) on a 17 inch rim with a 0 or -12 offset? I want the wheels to stick out as far as the top portion of the fender.

The truck is a 2009 F150 FX4 with 6.5 box

I'm runnning a 22x10 with a -13 offset and they stick out past the fender, so a 0 offset would be what you are looking for. Not too bad after I ptm some lund sport fenders, but still slightly past those as well.

If you are looking for 17" wheels, I would recommend Method!

With Methods, they are only 17" with a 0 offset.

We only run Method on all of our trucks!

With a Leveling kit, you will be able to fit a 315/70/17 with a little bit of trimming.

Just installed some 18x9" -0 Red Dirt Road wheels. Very happy with them. Put 33" KO2s on them.

They are flush with the fenders and I really am happy with the overall look.

The sad part is, is that those who put 20s (+) on their trucks likely have no interest in off roading their trucks. Or when they do, they get their teeth rattled out of their heads. And, you cannot air them down as much as taller sidewalls.

Just something to keep in mind, depending on what you want to do with your truck. I take my truck off road. I run 17s with 305/70s. I also appreciate the relatively comfortable ride on the highway as compared to 20s.

To each his/her own...

Stingray1300, the icon uca says max 5in backspace and the gen1 wheels are ~6in. Whats your opinion on fitment? Any rubbing on the uca?
