Funny coming from someone from California... not sure how you are able to live in a place like that either, WAY too many people for me on either coast.

This is much more my speed....

FYI, California is only has "WAY too many people" in the metropolitan areas (LA, SF, SD, Sacto.) That why I live in the burbs. Many ranges of hills from metro SF Area. But I hear ya! My wife and I view each place we travel as a potential "move-to" place. (we were just in Colorado a few weeks ago) But everywhere we go, there is just no place that has what we have (weather being at the top of the list).

In Colorado, YOU don't live in humidity either (I live @ 7,500 in NM at one time). The Rockies are wonderfully "dry". East of the Rockies, you can escape the heat via a/c, but you can't hide from the humidity. Miserable stuff. I was just empathizing with ALTAJAVA, nothing more.

But we're getting off topic. I'm just happy I fairly easy access to the "land of endless wheelin': Pacific Ocean to the Front Range
