We've done SPI, East Cut & PINS in our former 04 Expedition & now our, new to us, 04 F150 SCrew. Expedition got high centered driving back from East Cut going through loose sand. Tires & ground clearance were major factors. Replaced tires with BFG KO2 ATs & kept an eye out for deeper ruts in loose sand. F150 got BFG KO2 ATs 275/70/18s as soon as we got it. First trip this beach season hit SPI Beach Access 6 & went to Marker 16 water was high & we ran through a lot of loose sand aired down to 15 psi no issues keeping moving & helped out 4 stuck trucks. At work we drive Raptors and F150 SCrews '12-'15s I prefer the ones with lockers but only helps if you know how to use them. PINS anything out to Big or Little Shell try buddy trips until you're comfortable in your truck. Saw more broke down rigs when we did PINS than stuck. Like others have said the trucks abilities are more limited by you than the other way around. High water is another thing entirely, just had flooding down here in RGV. Try not to do it unless you really have too & then go slow. Moving water is something entirely different. Good luck
