Tires

What are some loud mts in the 350-450 price range?

zmadams 07-06-2013 08:46 PM

Nitto Mud Grapplers or Super Swamper Boggers. Price will differ a lot depending on the tire size and the size of the rim you're putting it on.
But why do you want loud tires?

Good enough reason for me. Here's a 35-12.50-17 for $315 per tire

Here's how they sound on the highway.

Thanks. My only concern is road durability. Any idea on how many miles they can last on the road.

Well with any mud tire, durability will not be their strong point. I haven't run these personally but I would guess they would last somewhere around 30k miles.

I know that mud tires arent real durable but i got to drive on the road so i dont want to get tires that just fall apart and go bald when i hit asphalt.

Well they won't be dangerous on the road if that's what you mean. As long as you're not doing like 100+ MPH on the road they won't come apart or have any risk on blowing anymore than a regular tire would. They just wear down faster than a highway tire so you'll have to replace them sooner.
