I want to experiment with lower tire pressures with snow on the road.

I have read that it helps a lot sometimes.

With 3-4 in snow on roadway traffic flow is going to be sub 30 mph anyway, so why not try like18psi for shorter distances?

Speaking of experimenting... was back in the desert again this weekend. Werent planning on any hardcore dune bashing, so decided to try the trip to our camping spot without airing down. It is about 20 miles into the desert, a few minor dunes here and there but mostly just soft sand. Normal Tire Pressure for me is 45. Made it out to the site Friday morning and back Saturday afternoon without too much hassle. It did get a little loose a few times, but I powered through. I was running at about 50mph most of the way. The biggest issue I had is that for some reason the truck thought I was towing and the trailer sway control kicked in and sapped power, happened four or five times. I never tow so hadnt gone through the settings to disable it as never needed to.
