Default straight axle swap!

i have an 1980 bronco and it has the ttb front drive line in it. i was wandering if i did a straight axle swap on it if i could keep the suspension i have on the front (coil springs and dual shocks) or if i had to put leaf springs on it? also has anybody already done this? is it hard to do?

I'm doin this to my 92 f150 right now. I got the axle and everything from under a 79 f150 tht had the coils. I am keeping the coil setup but I only have single shocks. You will need to get new coils for the yr axle your using (pre 80?) Since the design and buckets are different. If you want the leaf setup find a truck tht has it and rip it all off and stick it under yours. Its not really all tht hard. But some basic knowledge is always helpful. Good luck!

I did a sas on my bronco II, pretty much the same ttb set up, don't go leaf spring, use coils, you wont regret it.
