My dad has the SCT 3015 programmer for his 6.0 powerstroke would that work on my 5.4 triton as well since they are both OBD II

if you divorce it from that truck by loading the stock tunes back on it or get it unlocked for your vehicle...

It'll work, yes. As Amarr was saying, you have 2 options.

1. Return your dad's truck to stock, then tune yours. If you have no unlocks remaining after returning your dad's truck to stock, its $65 to send it to SCT so that they can add unlocks to it.

2. Keep your dad's truck tuned and send it into SCT so they can unmarry the tuner. Its $150 if you go that route.
