Default Rough country 2.5 inch leveling kit falling

So I had a RC 2.5 in leveling kit installed on my truck less than a week ago. When it came out of the shop I made measurementsome all the way around. It only raised in 2 inches. Since then in this small week of time the loft on the truck has sagged down to where now it's only 1.6 inches higher than before. Anyone else have problems with leveling kits not staying tall???

What year is your truck? The 2015+ leveling kits originally advertised as 2.5" net less than 2" of lift. If you look at their website now, the kit has been renamed to 2". They did not change the product.

Interesting. My 2 1/2" level on my 08 gave me exactly 2 1/2"s. Have you checked your front struts? If they are wearing out that could cause it to sag.

Is your leveling kit just spacers? If so I'm not sure how they would be failing or sagging. I would be looking more into the front end suspension components.

I have the same leveling kit and have had no issues. The spacers are aluminum construction, so I would be surprised if that was the issue. On the other hand, aluminum is a soft metal so it is possible I suppose.
I have had mine leveled for about a year and have not noticed any sagging, but I can tell you that I'm running 35x12.5 on the stock 17 inch wheel with minimal rubbing on the frame and tie rod.

rough country has a warranty to cover defects for the life of the vehicle that the kit is installed on, so I would start by contacting then. In my experience they have pretty good customer service. It is most likely a component of your factory suspension.

That's the thing when I received the kit I immediately contacted rough County bc the kit was not metal, it was some kind of polymer plastic and they assured me it would hold up fine

I missed the part where you said that your truck is an 08. Yeah they don't offer the aluminum spacers for that model year. Not sure that I would trust that to withstand the weight of the truck, but I could be wrong.

Have you taken it apart to inspect it? If it's actually failing, it would be smashed. I still think it's your struts, not the spacer.
