mmmmm.....you could do a body lift if you wanted a cheep lift and then you could put some bigger tires on it. its really up to you man...but that would be the easiest and the cheep way to go.

Body lifts are great,if you want bigger tires. There's nothing cheap about them unless compared to a suspension lift as far as money goes, as far as quality goes theres no difference as long as you order a descent body lift kit. They run around 130-200 dollars and if you want the fender guards and rear bumper guard(I highly recommend them) which come seperate usually they run around 100 dollars together. I know alot of guys that have suspension and body lifts on their trucks to fit those 40-44" tires. If you dont want over a 33" tire then you should'nt need a lift. If you'd like to run 34"-37" tires, then a 3"-4" body lift is the way to go. Its a whole lot cheaper on the pocket and you dont have to messup the stock suspension. I think the suspension lifts take away the good ride of the stock susp., but if you want to get in the air then thats what you got to do it since you shouldnt go over a 4" bodylift. I installed mine and it does just what I need to do and thats fit them 35's under it. To many people think since bodylifts are cheaper than susp.lifts that they are junk but in my experience theres nothin wrong with them at all.

Nice...
I have a stock 5.4 V8 2006 f150 screw, lariat 4x4...
I will be moving to Colorado Springs, Colorado in February, I was just wondering what kind of trails I should look for and what if anything can I do CHEAP to get trail ready.
I want to be able to take out my baby on the weekends and then drive her normally the rest of the time.
The only change I have made from stock is Bridgestone Dueler A/T Revo 18" tires.

Your stock setup should do fine for most stuff in Colorado Springs area. There are some good custom 4x4 shops in the Springs as well. I recommend you try out the off-road areas first and if you run into something where you might want a change then go for it.
