most 6" coilovers adjust down to 4"... e.g. the fox bds one or procomp.

I'm currently on OEM wit spacers. Do you think the best bang for my buck would be to swap in OEM raptor parts to get a softer 4" lift?

Seems like overkill... my 6" fox coilover system is way smoother than my stock suspension and miles better then my original fox 2.0 on 4" spacer system. Unless you can get a used Raptor system on the cheap I don't see that being a better alternative to another aftermarket system. I'm also not 100% sure that the Raptor system is plug and play to the standard f150.. but I've never looked into it either.

Fox makes a 4" coilover. Part #: BDS-88302134

Do they make those for 09-13?

I’m interested in why you think a raptor system is overkill. Looks like the aftermarket 4” coil overs are 1500-2000 and used gen 1 raptor fronts are <800. Even with rebuild, should come out cheaper. Depends on the deal I find I guess.

I believe with the lift kit knuckles, they are plug and play. Someone correct me if I’m wrong. This idea just came to me today since I will be going down to 4” of lift.

What year f150 do you have? Youre talking about gen 1 Raptor stuff? I wouldn't even consider gen 1 Raptor equipment... I was only thinking new stuff. I assumed you were talking take offs from a 2017-18 Raptor. I have no idea if gen 1 stuff would be plug and play on a 15-18 f150 with aftermarket knuckles already installed... I would highly doubt it but perhaps someone else here can speak to it.

My F150 is 2011.

From what I have found on the raptor forums. The Gen 2 rears are direct swap in 3.0 Fox. The fronts need to have the top hat and springs swapped or they hit the frame on the Gen 1 raptors.

Since Gen 1 raptors appear to be plug and play, I would think gen 2 fronts are as well with those small mods/part swaps. But I wouldn't really take the chance on the Gen 2 in the fronts. But the rears should bolt into the 09+ F150's.

What would be a viable option for fronts then? Gen 1 raptor fronts for under 1000 seem to be the best bang for my buck as far as my research goes.
