Rancho shock comparison??

Looking for some info on how the different grades ride and your results with them.

So I am installing this BDS 4" lift into my truck soon and am looking into replacement 4" lift struts. The only ones I have found aside from raptor take offs or $2500 raptor replacements are the rancho series of struts.

Specifically they make a 4" lift version.

RS5806- 5000 series
RS7806- 7000 series
RS999806- 9000xl series adjustable

Anyone with comparisons or Pro's/ cons from one to another?

I will be picking one of these.

I've used the rs5000 on 2 10thgen f150s. One lifted on 35s, and one stock. Good shocks but a little on the stiff side. The set on the lifted truck has been on there 4-5 years and still performs like new.

The Rancho shocks are not bad for the Entry Level options. But we can get you full length shocks from Fox, Icon, King, or pretty much any brand.

Like Greenhead said above, they will ride significantly stiffer and will not have the adjustability or smooth compression of the mid-high level options. winchested shoot us a PM or call us and we can walk you through it!

The $2000 shocks are out of my reach right now thanks for the offer. I want to be into shocks for around $500 so I'm thinking the 9000xls are the best I can afford right now for the money. Or a set of raptor take offs if I can find some.

We can definitely do a lot better than $2,000 for a pair of coilovers. I'll send you something in a bit.
