Default Pro Comp Xtreme All Terrains

So if anyone read my other thread, i said i was going to buy mud terrains. Well, i changed my mind. Im looking at the pro comp xtreme all terrains. ive been hearing some good stuff about them but i was wondering if anyone on here has/had those tires. if you have, please let me know what you think of them as far as how good they do in the mud, on the street, and how fast they wear.

I've got a buddy who has been rocking them on his Tacoma for 30K+ miles. He's in love with them, but bored with the tire. Says they have barely worn at all.

currently running them on my '03 FX4, i bought them after wearing out my X-terrains (about 40K). I'm running a six inch lift with 315/75R16's. Only have about 5,000 on them so far, but i'm happy with them at this point. Haven't had them in the mud, probably never will, those days of getting her all dirty and spending 3 days cleaning are over!!! However they do very well in the sand at 34 psi, probly even better aired down. They are wearing very well so far, I'm about to rotate them for the first time.

They are directional, which i didn't know at first, which kind of sucks because you can't cross rotate, but my X-terrains (also good tires) were also directional so i'm used to it. I imagine their mud performance would be better than most all terrains, but certainly not as good as a true mud tire. Probably need some wheel speed to keep them clean. I will say that they are not as quiet as i thought they would be. This doesn't bother me, my last truck had swampers on it, but they do sing to you a little bit, especially after a few thousand miles, so don't expect them to be as quiet as your stock tires. But overall they seem to be great tires and i've had no problems with the pro-comp name.

I had them previously on my truck for 13k miles (they were stolen then) and absolutely loved them. They looked as good at 13k miles as the day they were put on the truck. To me they are an aggressive looking tire, yet very quiet on the roads. I'd highly recommend them.

Here's how they looked on my truck.

They are a great all around tire. They obviously don't work as good off the road as a true mt but how the work on the road are def. worth it. Great tire that we use alot around the shop.

I have about 5k on mine 35x12.5r18. they do great in the mud and actually clean pretty well with plenty of throttle. I have only been stuck once with them, and there is not a single truck on the forum that wouldnt've been stuck too. (Dry ponds are only dry about a foot down. once you break through the crust its all over!) They sing a little on the road but are not too bad. Overall I love their looks traction, and so far they are wearing good...I could see wear by 5k on my Dick Cepek mud countries. I'd recomment the xtreme at to anyone!
