Offset and wheel confusion
 

I have a 2010 ford Fx4 everything stock. I ordered my 4 inch I rancho suspension lift today and have 35x12.5 tires and want 20x10 fuel hostage rims. All the forums I read on offset and back spacing confuse me. What offset and back spicing would I need for these tires to fit nice and have minimal rubbing. I know rubbing seems to be an issue but I don't mind a little trimming. I want the wheels to stick out about an inch. Here is a picture of the truck I am basing mine off of. The guy doesn't really give out his specs but which would make my tires stick out and be set like that. He said he has no rubbing issues.

Might be around +18 or +20. Check out customoffsets.com. I spent alot of time there today. I'm trying to find out the same info. I'm looking for the flush look with 33s. The site has plenty of pics, just type in what year,wheel,tire etc. They only bring up fords,dodges etc. Good luck.

In my research, I have generally found that 20x10 wheels are usually a -12 to-24 offset.I have ordered a set of 20x10 -13 offset which will likely stick out about 2 inches. If you're looking to less, I have found that the 20x9 with a 0 offset might be what you're needing.Generally it sticks out about 1 inch. Again ,this is based on my own research from Custom Offsets and this Forum.

I would be concerned with what the Rancho 4" lift spindles require for allowable back spacing... I believe it requires 4.5-5" of back spacing for wheels to clear the lift spindles...It will state if you can use stock wheels or not.
