Default Off-Roading in North Texas

Does anyone know any good off-roading parks, spots, etc. in North Texas or somewhere around there? I've heard about Barnwell Mountain Recreational Area and plan on going soon, it looks awesome. Any others?

Did they have anything good for beginners? My truck is stock with 125,000 miles so Im not looking for anything to hardcore at least not yet and I havent really done any offroading besides a decent bit of mudding

its not too tough, but its fun
