curious to see what some of you have setup for camping WITH OUT using a trailer.
I apologize ahead of time if this is a repost, on my phone and the search function doesn't work for whatever reason
also curious to see how some of you mount roof racks 09+ models specifically.
my 11 platinum 4x4, just traded my overland Tundra in for it so needing some new ideas for the truck. so far I've only done a full body clear bra (paint protection film to prevent bush scratches bug stains etc) and swapped over my roof top tent and bike hauler. all my gear fits in the bed, clothes/food/drinks/girlfriend in the cab. plan to get rid of the giant wheels once the tires go.
happy camping!

Wow...that is a pretty cool way of keeping yourself off the ground. I like it!

Nice, I think the F150 is a majorly underrated overland platform. I much prefer it to the Tacoma I came from for overlanding in all but two aspects: 1) tight trails 2) product support.
I plan on building a sleeping platform and putting a softtopper on my rig next spring but for now my gear mostly rides in water proof crates in the bed. I use a ground tent currently.

None of these are mine but I know the owner of the black Raptor. All of these are Leitner Designs racks and the white Raptor is Thule. I think the owner of the brown F150 is on here but I can't remember his username.
