Default need to replace factory tires with bigger all terrains

Alright guys feel free to chime in here because I have done so much internet searching I am more confused now than when I started. I have a 2009 XLT supercrew 4x4. I have 275/65/18 goodyear wrangler sr-a tires on now. Looks very weak not a very agressive tire . I am wanting to put bigger more aggresive all terrains on it using the stock wheels. I am wanting to raise the truck just a little nothing to much just a couple of inches. So my question is how much of a bigger tire can I get under it without a suspension lift. Can the bigger tires raise the truck a couple of inches or do I need to invest in a leveling kit? I been looking at the goodyears silent armor all terrain so if any opinion on those would be appreciated.

In response to the tires lifting the truck overall, yes. Bigger tires are going to make your truck taller. My truck gained about 1.5 inches when I moved up to 31s. Now obviously that will slowly wear down, but on any bigger tires, your truck will sit a bit taller.

Say you have 30 inch tires stock, and you put on 32s, the truck will sit 1 inch taller. Or 30 in stock up to 35's, 2.5 inches taller. Etc

I was looking at rough country 2.5 leveling kit and a 275/70 nitto terra grappler. In your opinion does that sound about right? Should I get the 1" block for the back just to keep a litte rake? Thanks for the helpful advise guys I really appreciate it.

In my opinion, get a 2" leveling kit for the front, and an add a leaf for the rear. It will be leveled and youll have a better towing with the add a leaf. As for tires, a 285/70/17 would be good, I'd go with either a Nitto terra grappler, bfg a/t or the new general grabber

Has anybody heard of or is running a ccm off road products? I've been searching and am taking raptor advice been looking at 2" level kit came across these ccm kits they are on sale but all my reading of these threads seems to be a unknown brand. I'm not sure about jumping on this sale. Decided on nitto 295/70/18 terras. I think it will look good just have to decide on lift! If any of y'all have input on ccm products please let me know. They really all look the same to me.

+1 for the general grabbers, those look AWESOME! and Ive heard that the nittos are wearing really quickly, but the bfg at is the high standard for all all terrains

A 305x65x18 BFG look's great on a leveled 4x4.
