I'd say put a dana 44 coil setup or an f350 dana 60 on leafs. It would be a total beast, and would have the suspension for ANY engine you want

I don't get the people saying not to do it and that it's a waste of money. How do you ever think the big woods trucks are ever built? They don't come out of the factory with 44 inch boggers.

But yeah, you're going to want to go with much, much lower ratios (has to be done, front and back) and with that you're going to eat front and rear differentials all day long unless you go with 3/4 ton or 1 ton rigging. Half ton rigging won't want to take the big tires that are going to come with a 12 inch lift.

As far as lifts, doesn't seem to be much out there. You could have a custom one rug up or go with a 6 inch lift and a 3 inch body lift. That's 9 inches there.

If you're going to spend that much money, why not go with a long travel suspension, you can easily get 14-16 inches of play on a 4x4. They make the truck sit like a 6-9 inch lift.

An SAS would be more durable when it comes to beaten the crap out of it. A long travel would be great for prerun style stuff.
