Default Mounting ideas to replace foglights with 3" cube lights in '13 STX

Have a set of 3" cube lights that I am trying to mount in the factory shrouds for my fog lights in a 2013 STX. I know I can purchase the brackets but I have heard of ways to do it without paying $60 for two brackets. Any ideas would help, Thanks!

I just took buckets out and drilled holes to mount led fogs. I used washers to add strength.

Yep, I did the same. Took buckets out and drill holes for mounting. It's pretty simple, minimal drilling and no cutting.

You just have to measure how deep you want them then drill one hole to mount. Like I said, I used large washers and bent them to the contour as added support. Had them that way for almost two years before I got XB Led fogs in the stock buckets.

ok I'm trying to post this for the third time, I ended up doing exactly what y'all said and it worked out great. Thanks for all the advice!
