Leveling a truck messes up actuators for 4wd

Default Leveling a truck messes up actuators for 4wd

I have a 2013 extended cab f150 stx 4x4 and have heard alot that leveling the truck will mess up the actuators for the 4wd and was curious whether or not this was true

NOT true. By definition, a "level" is just that: level the truck, usually about 2". Leveling does increase the increase the CV angles, but not to the point where it's a problem. Just be cautious about leveling much more than 2".

True lift kits deal with this issue.

Stories....sheesh!

I may be wrong, I'm posting here because I'm bored, but isn't the problem during the install of the leveling kits? As in the installer not knowing what they are doing?

I think he wants to know about the wear and tear part....like stated above ..if you stay in the 2-2.5” range you will be fine.
