Leveling kit or shocks?

Leveling kit or shocks?
Hi guys,
I am getting ready to replace the factory shocks on my 2012 FX4 Supercab. I will need new tires in the very near future as well and was thinking about leveling the truck while I'm at it. Most of the shocks I have found are adjustable. I don't know much about this type of thing and am wondering if I should get a leveling kit AND adjustable shocks or is it an either-or type of situation? I am looking at Bilstein 5100, or something similar (I'm open to input on that as well). Any help or advice you folks have would be appreciated.
Thanks!
Brian

I would stick to just a level until you decided to get more serious.
I have a 6in lift using my factory coils w/ 6in spacers, Ive even taken them offroad and they did ok.
hold off on buying nice coilovers and shocks until later when you know for a fact you wont be lifting it
hope my opinion helps
