I have 40 feet of elevation change in my yard, over 250 feet from the main road to my house. I'm in the foothills of the Smoky Mountains. We have some real good two tracks with lots of elevation change, some are a real challenge, many my truck will never attempt but the Jeep will.

That is one twisty road. We took it from Red Lodge, MT when we headed from there to the Grand Tetons. Yeah, that is some ride.

Haha. Someone had to be THAT guy. Those trails look like a blast, makes me want to take my truck offroad again. Actually that reminds me, I never cleared over my trail damage on my bumper from the rocks, I may have to sand the metal now to get the rust out then clear it. I'm not gonna bother repainting because it's on the bottom of the bumper, but I need to keep rust from starting.

Haha, all good. And yeah those trails are fun.

Your bumper doesn't sound like too bad of a job to take care of. Just a matter of finding the time!

It's a bit snowy at the moment.

At that point I was on skis. Around the next corner is a winddrift that's over 10' deep with a steepish downhill side, and I didn't have enough faith in my sidehilling skills to try crossing it alone (especially since I was only half a mile from where I was trying to go).

and semi-on-topic, 3/4 slednecks at the lot that day prefer Ford:

You know, I absolutely love living in Texas with our mostly mild winters. Heck, it's supposed to be 70 today and 72 tomorrow. But just once a winter, I'd love it to snow like that. Or enough for the snow to last a few days and then go away. Oh well. Beautiful pic btw!
