Default Installing Leveling Spacer????

I've searched and read through a few threads with no luck. Can I install the spacers without pulling the coil/strut all the way out? Both videos I've watched the pulled them out.

No. You won't be able to get enough flex out of the LCA. Just easier to yank the coilover. Should only take about 3 hours to do both sides.

Literally just washed the grease off of my hands from installing a 2" leveling kit on a 2012 FX4. Yup, you DEFINITELY have to pull the strut. And yup. 3 hours. And a buddy, if you got one.

It's worth buying the tool to compress the strut. They you won't have to remove them. I installed 3" spacers in the front by undoing the top strut mount bolts and just compressing the strut down. Makes the job faster. But don't cheap out on the tool, they take a lot of stress and strain on the bolts and I have seen the aftermath of cheap ones I bough a Mac on $160 had no issues!

Not following you on compressing the coil spring to add a spacer to the top of the strut mount.

This is the kit http://www.mactools.ca/en-ca/Steering-and-Suspension/Suspension/HT90200/Master-Spring-Compressor-Kit

works great just jack up the truck, clamp it on the coil spring, undo the top strut nuts, impact it nuts tight, slide your spacer in (I had to do a little wiggling with a pry bar) align the bolts again and undo the nuts on the tool and tighten your strut bolts on top and your done!
