If the engine is off (no vacuum), the wheel/hub should turn freely. When the engine is running, vacuum is supplied, which connects the IWE.

Cool?

Backwards Sting... when engine off no vacuum being supplied to IWE’s they will be engaged.. engine running providing vacuum will dis-engage the IWE’s. So.. to answer the ops question.. we need to know if the truck is running or not.

Thanks guys. I had a 50/50 chance, and I blew it. I got lost in my own explanation...

I just added an IWE unlock feature last week. It's so cool, that at a flick of a switch, I can run in low range/2wd!
