Default Help with wheels

All this backspace and offset is driving me nuts. I'm looking to install a BDS 4" kit on my 2014 extended cab. Need help on which wheel would work best. I'm wanting Fuel Vapors. They come in 18x9 with -12 offset, 20x9 in a +1 and +20 offset. I'm looking not to do any trimming. BDS says 18x9 5-5.5 back spacing and 20x9 4.5-5.5 back spacing. I'm looking to put probably something in the 34 inch tire size on it. What do the experts think would be the best fit?

if you're doing a 4" lift I honestly don't think you'll have an issue with any of those sizes. I've got a friend with a 2016 that installed 20x9 Fuels with +1 offset and 275/65s which are 34" tall and had no rubbing whatsoever with a 2" level. he didn't trim anything. I know it's not the same generation of truck but it seems like it's a little harder to fit bigger tires on the 13th gen anyway. now of course if you went with something like a 295/60R20 you'd have a little more width than he did but with 4 inches I still don't think it would rub.

I have 4" BDS with -13 wheel with 35's and had to do some trimming. Still get a slight rub when turning hard and hit a bump at the same time. Which surprises me because they advertise on the website that they clear 35's, so I assumed that meant no trimming.

I have 295/70r18, basically 34x12. Wheels are 18x9 0 offset, but I'm only on a level. Guy I bought them from had a 2013 with 4" Lift and still had to do some minor trimming due to the offset. I had to trim the corner of the front valance, pulled back the liner with a zip tie, and had to trim a little bit off the bottom inside of the flare. No rubbing at lock, but edge of the tire gets really close at 3/4 which is why I had to trim a little bit off the flare.

Seen plenty of people saying that a 34x12 on the factory 20s fit with no trimming necessary on a level, and iirc they are +44, so if going with some new wheels, I'd probably pick the +20 being the closest to the factory offset if you really want to try and avoid any trimming.
I'm just going off what I've read and what the guy I bought my wheels/tires from said with his 4" lift.
