Another person posted from stage 3 motorsports site that they recommend not running coilovers with spacers but I've also read plenty of threads with guys turning the fox 2.0 to the lowest setting and using the spacers. So I just trying to do all my homework to make the best decision and see if i can retain my original purchase.
I need to be under 7ft to fit. So stock ride height is a hair under 76. I figure 4 inch lift and the 35s i have should put me about 81 82 range.

The only time it would be an issue of running coil overs with spacers would be if you are pushing the truck hard. The spacer just gives another bend/failure point (where the coilover and shock meet) and that could fail if you are going crazy. But I don’t think you’d be able to drive hard enough with 2.0’s to worry about it. You would need a better coilover for that.

The only difference between the 4" lift and the 6" lift is the length of the coilover. The rest of the kit is the same. The BDS 4" and 6" kit share the same diff drop / brackets, etc. (it's a 5" diff drop for both kits). The 4" kit just runs 1" below the diff drop, while the 6" kit runs 1" over the diff drop. They do that so they can just create one kit (diff drop) for both size lifts, and the lift amount in inches is determined by what size coilovers you put on.
I bought the 4" BDS kit. I emailed BDS about adding Fox shocks. They replied informing me, that the Fox coilovers and shocks they sell with their 6" lift can be used on the 4" lift, but you had lower down the front coils 3/4" from their setting. Boom !! Done. That's it! I estimate, with lift and 35" tires she sits at about 6'10". so you can get into your 7 foot garage.. Try emailing BDS.. It's pretty straight forward... I love my set up!! It's so friggin tight and thoroughly enjoy it. I go from the mall to the mountains!! quickly!

Yep! Awesome truck. And even cooler, if for whatever reason you decided you wanted to go higher at some point in the future, all you have to do is adjust the coils up and pop in a higher rear block and you're good to go!

Here's my similar setup. BDS 6" with 6" coilovers set at 6".

I tried to call bds but just missed them. I'm hoping to leave my fox 2.0 coilovers set at 2 and then put a 2inch spacer on the top. But we shall see what they say. The fox 2.5s are way overkill for what I need. I do light trails, creek beds, fields go access hunting areas etc. I also am trying to rip out my b&o play system which is costing me like 3 k lol so if I can just do the bds 4jnch with my fox setup and just got the fox rear shocks I can do both at the same time with the wires approval

Just got off the phone with bds. They said I can adjust my front coilovers down 3/4 of an inch and install there kit exactly as it comes.
