2018 F150 - Fitting 35x12.5 Tires
Background: I live in California and 50% of my future truck's use will be offroading. Deserts, dunes, and forests, like Mohave, Pismo, and Kern.
Watching a lot of videos on YouTube like Custom Offsets, I noticed that they have to do a lot of trimming, including cutting the front crash bar in order to make 35x12.5's fit, even with a 4-6" lift.
I need my tires to not only be able to turn all the way, but have full range of suspension travel.
What are some of the most popular and effective ways of achieving this? Widening the wheel wells? Use of aftermarket offroad bumpers?
Any help or experience would be appreciated.
Thanks!

Spend a lot of time studying offsets of your wheels. Mine are 20x9.5 with a et25 offset.
I fit 35x11.5x20 Nitto Ridge Grapplers on my 2015 F150 with only 1.5" spacers up front. Granted, I don't rub in daily driving unless I really bomb up inclines with the wheels turned sharply left/right.
I used a porta-power to spread my crash bars an additional 1" or so and have millimeters of clearance at full lock.
With proper wheel offset and a 4" lift there's no reason you can't get enough clearance to run 35's with absolutely no rubbing.
