Default Got a little braver off roading today

Went back to the Northwest OHV park, but not alone for once! Met a couple guys in a local group, so we all met up there today. Spent over 4 hours playing on rocks and in mud. Had about 2 3/4 inches of rain yesterday out there, and it showed! No deep water runs today,. lol. Afterwards tho, I should have done a few, truck was really muddy underneath.
The rock hill I went down was a first, it was fun tho, going up was pretty fun too. We had to turn around and go back the same way, the other side, about 4 minutes away was far too steep for any of us to make it, first step down a big rock was probably a good 15 inches! Woulda bottomed out for sure, then the tail end would get my bumper knocked off I thought, so we went back the way we came in. One rocky hill we went up was 23 degrees on my dash readout. Do not remember which it was, or if I even got a picture of it, lol.

This may be the 23 degree hill at the top part. It was fun going up, slippery tho! a few big rocks we had to avoid, and a steep drop off to the right around the start to mid way up.

Greg who was behind me on our trip today is uploading some of his pic's. This one was down a little hill, into a bunch of mud at the bottom! Really slick, I had a hard time getting outa a rut that kept slinging me towards trees, and ended up with a little scratch from it. Oh well, it's what I bought this truck to do, have fun off road!
Sent the pics and video to my parents, my Mon said she couldn't watch me going down the hill, lol. She's over-protective!

Every new truck has to get it's first scratch sometime. Good to see you having fun with it. A good friend and hunting partner bought a new 350 about 2 years ago and he still gets all bunched up every time he has to go through a puddle. IT'S A TRUCK!
