Getting a Prerunner bumper made.
So i recently found a local fab shop that is going to do me up a Prerunner bumper for, wait for it...... $275. I'm stoked of course but had a few questions about design. Hes never done this, on this model truck before (2007 F150 2X4). I was wondering if anyone had any detailed pics of a custom one as far as design goes.
i found this on an 02:
Slash cutting the frame rails, and welding the tube from there up. seems right.
But here is the end result i want:
And anyone with eyes can tell easily that the skidplate pictured connects somewhere much lower than where the bumper used to be.
What am i missing?

Skid plates are real easy to fab up so he should have no problems but the plate going lower goes below the frame rails to what looks like where the lower control arms mount off of. Hopefully it's a deal man post some pics when done but usually with the fab shop I worked at we would make cheaper brush guards. But they wouldnt be as strong or bad *** looking as if u paid a little more for more fab.
