You'd end up effectively changing the gear ratio from 3.55:1 to about 3:1. I wouldn't do it.

Just spend the coin on gears. It's worth every penny.

You would definitely want a tune at least. I'd say get gears and with 37s. These trucks look sweet with a 6" lift and 37s!

I've already got the tune with my 35's I'm just afraid my mileage will drop significantly with the added mass of the 37's...really hope to find someone that has the 37's on a Ecoboost so I could get first hand info.

I might be the right one to answer this. But I have 2014 5.0 with 37" I have 4.56 gear and love it

What's your mileage now? I'm running 35s on 3.55 too and am considering a gear swap.

Damn. I think mines defective haha I get 10 city and maybe 13.5 running 65 (local limit) on the highway. Tuned. I DO have a 4" lift also though.

I was getting 14 before I tuned but of course in only leveled...I'm still toying with the idea of 6" and 37's though
