Default Need Help building a 94 F150 Ex Cab Trail Rig

I am wanting to turn my old 94 F150 into a trail rif / rock crawler and was wanting to know what mods i need to do to the truck to make it trail ready I don't want to blow a bunck of cash on it i just want something i can go play around in the dirt with

it has a 5.8 L
a E4OD
and 31x10.5x15 tires
coil over rear shocks

but other than that its stock

what systems can i cut out of the trucks eletricals and still keep things like the the fuel injection and such.

the dash cluster is not working at this time what can i do to by pass the computer and make it run right.

i am planning to remove the box and make a tube frame box with skid plates, rock rails, and a tube front and rear bumper.

any help would be great.

Don't touch the electrical. If it works, don't frig with it because you'll just run into problems over nothing.

Get a lift, bigger tires, get a posi rear and a locker up front, switch to bigger housings off a 1 ton or an f250 and enjoy. After that, you should have a pretty rugged trail rig
