Default Engine Swap

I have a 77 F150 I bought without an engine. I bought a really good 351M that runs great. Put it in and fater I put it in I realized the pan was in the wrong spot. The pumpkin would surly hit the oil pan so I started looking at what should be there and discovered I needed a rear sump oil pan. No problem I will just go buy one so I did. Upon opening up the engine I discovered the oil pickup tube is in the wrong spot. I started looking for a longer one that worked on the rear oil sump and bought it. Came home and it is different then the one on the engine. The one on the engine is threaded into the pump and the one I bought bolts on. I then went to the auto parts store and they sold me the oil pump that works with that pickup tube. Brought it home and the bolt holes don't line up with the block???? Now what??? does anyone have the solution???

Thanks Bruce
