My recommendation would be to find a nice campground, drop the trailer and run a few trails. You'll have a lot more fun that way.

***Do NOT take a camp trailer on the trails!***

Trailer is parked and not planning on taking it on any trails.

Just don't want to break the F150 Tow Vehicle on any hard trails but would like to get off road.

Stoney Pass just out of Silverton would be no problem for a F150 4x4, I take my Tundra with camper up there every year. Stoney is on the Continental Divide so you'll be looking at the Rio Grande headwaters. You can drop down the RG side ~10 miles, then come back. Whatever you do, don't go as far as RG reservoir.

I haven't been up in that area in thirty years. I want to go back so bad!

Just in case you've forgotten, here are a couple of pics from earlier this week:

Silverton from the Old One Hundred trail.

Rolling Mountain,13,684' from the Rico-Silverton trail

Enjoy!

So Stoney and Ophir pass is safe for full size 4x4's. Any other's around the Silverton/Ouray/Telluride area? Don't want to mangle the truck or freak out the wife. LOL
