Looks familiar though. Lol.

If he was stuck in a fresh water lake ya sure no problem. But salt water is a whole different animal. No matter how much you rinse you won't get it all and it will rust out faster then anything. I live by salt water seen it 1000's of times. My truck doesn't go on salt water beaches even. That sand is full of salt and it gets everywhere. Between the ocean and them salting the roads in the winter vehicles don't last long around here

Salt water will destroy a vehicle. If my truck was under salt water like yours I'd be tryin my best to get rid of it asap just my opinion

I love my truck to death. If I got stuck and the frame in salt water it would be on Craigslist saying "motivated to sell".

Update us in a couple months with a rust report. Take pics of truck now then again in a few months.

Honestly, I'd keep it and clean it really good. I buried my truck on the beach over a year ago, all the way to the bottom of the doors, and after i got it out and cleaned it up, it was fine. In the summer i drive on the beach at least once a week, always wash it when I'm done though, and I'm anal about rust, therefore my 2006 has hardly any, just some light surface rust. Once you get everything figured out, go through and clean everything.
