Somebody should make a "budget minded" bumper for those of us who want the look but don't nessicarily need the brute strength of these bumpers.

I'd buy one in a minute... then I would remember that the military don't pay that well!

If you can weld, buy some pipe and get it bent up. You could build a fairly simple 1 pretty easily.. it might not be 100% perfect looking but it would work.

Yeah maybe you should get some pipe and bend yourself up one! Sounds like a great idea!

This is not a mass produced china made piece of **** like all the ARB, Bush Master, 150000 lb hidious looking 1/4 plate made by a 5 yr old girl with a arc welder.. No offence
First off, just because you are using a TIG doesnt make the Arc Welders any less of a machine. The strength of the weld is based upon materials used to create that weld, along with heat and penetration. Since you are welding 40+ pieces, ARC welder would be the more beneficial tool to use, saves you time, and time is money correct? This would allow you to push the savings onto your customers, and therefore be able to sell more, which is the point of being in business right?

Now powdercoating, alum anod, sure, I'll give you those should/would bring up the cost a bit. But thanks for the very neutral response. I'll definitely be buying my own materials and creating from my Girly ARC welder. Thanks for steering me clear!

Trust me guys when I say this.. I go to almost all the SCORE, Best in the Desert, SNORE, Lucas Oil(CORR) races and there is always a ton of trucks there that have hand build welded to the frame pre runner bumpers. I would honestly say 2-3 out of 10 look good or decent. When I look at them I coundn't see over 200-400 dollars in them, not to mention it looks like they butchered there truck. I always bring a truck with my product out there and get tons of compliments. You can definately see the quality and workmanship going into each bumper that is made. Not to mention they are completely bolt on. I design and build race trucks, long travel suspension, and many other off road products. I agree anybody can dig a whole in the ground and **** in it. I would hire a professional plumber to do the plumbing in my house though.

Ill give you examples of what I see
