Default Bilstein 6112's and 5100s w/ Raptor Take Offs

After a month of owning my new truck and missing my old one. I've done more than I've probably should have and while being impatient.

Today I just had installed Bilstein 6112s and 5100s in the rear (soon to have 5160s). Also some sexy Raptor Take Off Wheels and Tires . I wanted a long travel kit, but after researching. I'm not going to be doing crazy off roading. Just Georgia Mountain Hunting Trails, Nebraska Hunting Pastures, and occasional ORV park trails to get my trailer and ATV around.

After leaving the shop I'm noticing the ride is a little stiffer than stock...Hopefully it's just needing to be broken in. So on my way home a hit a dirt road at a decent speed. Still seems rough. Tomorrow I'm taking it out to a pasture and really trying to break them in since we have all this new snow. . Then repeat when the 5160s get here.

My current other additions so far. More of creature comforts over performance or enhancement:
-UnderCover Flex Tonneau Cover
-Linex Bed
-Husky Liner Contours Front and Back
-50 Cal Bullett Antenna
- 20% tint all around and 50% on the windshield

Coming Soon
-5160s (ordered)
-Switchback Headlights (Next)
-Magnaflow Exhaust
-Supercharger
-New Front Bumper (Dechrome)
-New Front Grill (Dechrome)

Before Just Purchased
1500 miles later
I'm in Love
Side by Side Comparison

Your truck is starting to look good and I'm sure the front will look better with your future mods. Keep us posted on how the shocks do. I am looking at ordering these soon and want something a little stiffer than stock for when I go out back roads and fields to go ride dirt bikes. I just don't want it to ride horrible on road and I am sure the tires made your ride a little stiffer. Also did you measure how much lift they gave u and what setting r they on.

Yes I did measure sorry about that. Front is now sitting at 40.5" and rear is setting at 41.5". The 6112's I had set at 2.5"

I freaking love them! I've given them a rough test for the past few days since we've had some snow. Hitting dirt roads at 40 as well as hitting creeks at 40 mph as well (don't worry not a big Creek, just a slight drop into it and out).

You can't really tell but she is pretty dirty

I like them for daily driving. I've usually run 5100s in all my trucks in the past. I feel the 6112s are just as good if not better. I plan on running 5160s shortly for my rear end. My next focus with the 5160s is new gearing at 4.10s or 4.11s.....

Can you post a pic of your cv angles? All the 6112's that I've been looking at all say 0-2 inches of lift, where did you find the 2.5's?
