Default best setup for longer travel Baja while avoiding a huge amount of lift?

Hi. I'm not new to owning trucks, but I've never upgraded my suspension before. I have a 2017 4X4 screw. I wanna know, is there a best way to achieve a longer travel suspension that I can use for higher speed dessert fun WITHOUT lifting my truck more than 2" ? I guess I'm self conscious of going too big and being labeled as one of "those guys" that are compensating because of ......wel you know, LOL

I'm currently running the stock FX4 springs (may not be any different than standard and Bilstein 5100s front and rear

Technically, yes you can.

You will need to take the preload out of the spring but depending on which kit you go with, it'll sit around 2-3".

We have both a Prerunner and Long Travel Race kit for the F150 4WD.

Both trucks are running 37" tires and they will give you a little more lift out of the truck.

Both trucks are sitting at around 3".

Woww! Those trucks are exactly what I was picturing. I'll have to do some research now....im wondering the difference between prerunner and long travel.

I kind of wanted to see the possibilities while still using my stock upper control arms

If you're serious about having a truck capable of high speed desert runs, replacing your upper control arms should be the least of your concerns.

Thanks for your helpful advice. I'm not too serious. I just want to get the most bang for the buck and don't want to do any permanent modding/cutting/welding -just in case I need to swap back to stock for any warranty work as my truck is brand new.

Best bang for the buck will be Raptor take-offs. They'll bolt on and be considerably cheaper than an aftermarket setup.

If you are looking to do not cutting or welding, that'll be our Prerunner Kit.

This is a direct bolt on kit that will give you 12" of wheel travel.

Email, PM or call me with any questions.

Will the Gen 1 parts fit the 2017?

I know the lower arm is different when designed our Prerunner kit.

No, I meant 2017 Raptor take offs. I should have specified.

Guys are already upgrading so parts are out there.
