Default Quick Quest: What's correct size? Mfg wrong?

Hi guys. I have to give a style/part number by tonight.

The prob is I've never ordered aftermarket fog lights before, as my trucks have always had factory sets, nor have I ever had an off road bumper installed.

I thought it'd be straight forward where you order the fog that fits the bumper slot, but apparently I'm wrong.

According to the bumper manufacturers website, it fits a 3.5" square or a 4" circle. This doesn't make sense to me. Wouldn't it be a 4" square and a 3.5" circle to fit "inside" the square slot?

I have been having a hard time finding 3.5" square for lights that I thought were common.

Did the manufacturer screw up? Even on their website they only have 3" squares.

What pair of brand/type of fogs should I get for this bumper if the budget is set at $150?

Here are pics to the bumper, their light size recommendations, and their offered fog lights...

Thanks actually. I was just trying to get an answer but makes no difference at this point as I have to call the manufacturer to get the answer specifically.

Also, I've noticed on this page we aren't able to delete the thread ourselves.

Is there a way we can delete it, as done on other forums, or do we need to reach out to moderators?

No, it's all through staff. Deleting things messes up information exchange, which is a bad thing, given how huge this site is

While I have you here how do you like your 5100 set at 2"? Does it level you out nicely?

I think so. I didn't take before and after measurements because I did the work on a slanted driveway, and I was too lazy to go to a flat place to get measurements. But I have them set all the way up and have no intention to bring them back down. The look is great, and the ride is a little stiffer since the springs are a bit more compressed than they originally were, but the combination of the new struts and shocks in the rear made the ride incredibly smooth. I fully recommend it.

LOL took me like 5 minutes to find the right post to respond to the guy, all the others were closed...

So Baja Designs has lights that might fit your install..

Their Squadron Pro lights are 3.07" x 2.77" x 3.07" (squarish) and 3.5" x 2.77" x 3.5" (round)

We have them on our site (I think... we're still adding their entire line). You can also PM us and we can help you find a light that fits.

Thanks man. I'm a bit torn. The spacer will give you better ride height. But you sacrifice a bit because you are using stock suspension. Go too high and your camber, etc will suffer.

The next option is biltstein, which I've had on my Silverado in the past and loved them. The only prob is it only slightly raises you to 2" but your real benefit it a solid suspension.

I think I may go the biltstein route...

Thanks 4x4! I found the rigid industries SAE D Series and may go with them. Things screwed up in the meantime. After talking to the bumper Mfr about light fitting, the dealership now doesn't want to order the parts so now I have to do it myself and coordinate with the dealer on how we plan to pay everything between myself, insurance, and dealer work.

So, hopefully by the end of today I'll have a better idea.
