Default Anyone running 265/70/17's with level kit and blocks?

Right now I have an 08 xlt 4x4 screw sitting stock with 265/70/17's. I want to get a leveling kit (2.5in) but was also thinking about getting 3" blocks in the rear. My concern is that the tires will look to small. I eventually want to regear with 35's but dont have the funding to do that right now and the tires (General AT2's) are only about 9 months old. Are these tire going to look too small? Anyone have pics of this setup?

Yeah dude, they will look too small. I don't have any pics personally but they are around on the forum. I suggest you save up your funds and get it all done at once.

Would suggest 275/70 and above. With that set up you could safely go to 35's. I'm going with 285/70 Toyo AT2

If you simply level your truck, you won't notice that much difference, HOWEVER individual perception varies.
You then mentioned putting 3" blocks on the rear? You realize you'll INCREASE your truck's rake by doing this?
As far as what the tires will look like in relation to adding 3" to the rear, you've already got more clearance in the rear than you do in the front, so adding another 3" in fender gap back there can definitely have the effect of making your tires look smaller back there.

Maybe I should have said replace the 2" blocks in with rear with 3" blocks raising the rear only 1"

I'm with the guy who said save your money! your spending money only to removed it later and put a correct lift on the truck. Rather than adding blockes to the back, go with springs either add-a-leaf or full stack... you will be happier with the ride, You will need more then two inches if you go with 35s. I see no value in doing any job half way.

Get it done right, don't cut corners (no pun intended).
