Under body paint
I was wondering what under body paint everyone uses on their trucks to keep all the under body from rusting ??
im seeing rust on my axles and transfer shaft would like to eliminate that since i live in PA and rust is an issue up here (we use salt) My dad uses old oil to get the rust off but it has to be applied every yr, im looking to only have to get rid of the rust once.

Oil doesn't get rid of rust, it protects against new rust. You're going to have to oil it every year underneath and in your doors anyways, rust can't happen if your underneath is coated by oil. Undercoat it, take it back a back road and get some dirt underneath it (so the salt don't stick to it) and you're good.
If you mean you want to sandblast your frame and repaint it, POR15 I think is the name of the stuff most of us use. It's the best.

Spray On ....
I used the Spray on bed liner and it works great 
Don't have any rust issues just mud once in a while
Although I don't drive on salted roads in Ca either

The smart route IS oil. Rust cannot form when everything is well oiled. We have a ton of salt where I am and the difference between a non oiled car and an oiled one is incredible.
If you don't oil your truck, it's going to rust. If you do oil it properly, inside of all your doors, fenders, underneath and all the little spots it will not rust or if it has rusted, it will make it hard for new rust to form.
Painting underneath doesn't do much unless you sandblast it down to the bare metal. If you just paint over the rust, you don't prevent any new rust to form you just simply cover up the old stuff. What you need is oil, not paint. Paint is fine if you want to prep the whole underneath of your truck, sandblast it and then repaint it then yes, get some POR15 and paint it but even then, you're still going to need to oil everything.
Take your truck to somewhere that does rust check to drill all the proper holes for the oiling and get it done there. Next winter, you can do it yourself if you have a spray gun and some old waste oil. My mother neglected to oil her 07 accord and it was rustier then my 97 grand marquis which was oiled it's entire life and in perfect, rust free shape.
