I'm thinking....no way someone is going to pull a TT on the beach with a 2wd. Baaaad things could happen, although I'm sure their are those who have mastered the technique.

what is a locker and what does it do? It has off-road mode and advanced trac but I’m worried about snow.

I really don't know if all trophy trucks are 2wd or not, but I do know Most Baja 1000 trucks are 2wd, it is hard to argue with facts. Off road use in the the dry (usually) Baja region is much different than the clay and mud in Alabama, 2 vs 4 wheel drive arguments make more sense if those involved were to state where the truck is to be used. IMHO, Tires and clearance make huge differences, great 4x4 running soccer mom tires vs lifted 2wd running aggressive off road tires? If we know the type of terrain, we could make a call. I own both, when I'm going off road-usually hunting, I drive the 4x4, but that is me. I have also run many miles in southern AZ and NM in a 2wd (good off road tires), did not have a problem, but I was not looking for one!
