Default 84 F150 Body Lift Questions

Hey there, I'm new to this whole 4x4 . Im preparing to install a 3" body lift on my 84 F 150..i was wondering if anyone here has performed this task and if so what can i expect? Any hints or tips would be wonderful. I've already been soaking the bolts the past few days.

Thanks

KP

Well i started with the body lift today....did all the prep work, removed the grille, front bumper, plastic bed liner, have had all the bolts soaking for the past 10 days and broke all of the bolts loose on the cab.....i have a feeling ill be cutting the ones on the bed....here are some pics of the progress and ill add them as the project continues....

a couple of the cab mounts were FULL of mud and i had to dig them out to find the bolts hahah

Got the cab done today.....the bolts on the radiator support were a PAIN IN THE *****.....eventually we settled to just cut them out, everything else went swimmingly and hopefully tomorrow I will finish up with the bed, but it looks awesome as of right now.

Finished up the body lift today....truck looks awesome, the bed was a royal pain in the *****. had to cut all but 2 of the bolts bc they broke......cutting around the fuel tank make the ol spinchter pucker up as well, but she looks good! oh and i had to notch the floor for the 4x4 shifter so i could have 2wd.
