4 wheel parts experiences
I’m about put my truck (2017 F1450 Lariat Fx4 Supercrew Cab) to 4 wheel parts store for wheel, tire and lift kit. They will install everything for me. Do anybody have experience with 4 wheel parts before?

I've bought parts from them without issue.

Thank you for your experience, Rnlcomp!
I will let’s 4 wheel parts install everything for me! But, I read some bad reviews about their done job; specially, their customer service. They Quote $5,900 (parts+labor) for Rough Country 6” lift kit, and Fuel Hostage 20x9, and Nitto tires 35” WHAT’S ABOUT THAT? |
I had mine done there . 1st kid screwed it up but another guy fixed it, just cost me travel and waiting time. It’s only as good as the mechanics at any given location
|
Thank you Dave!
I like 4 wheel part, because they are chain and big company. But I’m not sure about their work and price to compare to. |

It all depends on the tech working on your truck. If you are in the Chicagoland area I’d recommend Maximum Automotive. They work on mine and do good work. The 4 wheel parts guys told me that they can’t even rebuild shocks. They are used to cheap lifts and components that get tossed out in a few years or never go off-road. They also told me there was no way to put a 35” tire in the spare tire area.....wrong!
That was my experience with the Naperville location. |

That was my experience with the Naperville location. I live in Houton. |
Install cost for all of the local shops for me was $1000.
The nittos are close to $1500. Wheels are probably close to $300/wheel so $1200. Rough country lift is like $1000 So there is $4700. Edit* Looked up fuel hostage wheels on customoffset and they are $1120 shipped. Nitto ridge or trail grapplers are $1500 Updated previous numbers |
Thank you for your number, Jdrunk54nl!
I never lift truck before, and have no experience about that, so I need your guys’ help |
