I doubt it would kill the motor but all the gear hunting will kill the transmission.

That is everything you need to re-gear both front and rear axles.

When you fix the gearing in the front and rear Diffs...nothing. you are talking Thousands of dollars to run 37's which your not going to be able to do with just a 3" lift.

You can shop until you're blue in the face and you're not going to beat the $899 Nitro price.
Just make sure you have a local shop that will install them. Some places like 4WP (maybe thats all thats around you) will only install what they sell.

i run 37s. I put them on when I had 6" of lift. It was tight. I then changed up my suspension and now at 10" of lift to run 37s. I regeared to 4.88s. Before that, the truck would constantly be shifting. 35s will rub on 3"..nevermind 37s. Maybe some more research is needed. Also, you have to do the suspension right..cant just throw on a 50 dollar 3" leveling kit and 37s
heres my truck when i had 6"..it rubbed. Then, on 10"

Only real shop I have here is NAPA. I got screwed over by a mechanic there
once at the guy his own shop.. you could understand that I have trust issues
regarding them. I do have one buddy who has been working on jeeps and
trucks for the better part of his life.. he should know how to do it and how
to do it right.

judging by those pics.
I have added a link in a previous post regarding the lift kit that I'm looking
at. It's an add-a-leaf kit.

money aside (since we already decided its going to cost a pretty penny to do it right...)
wouldn't a UCA/LCA from some company like Readylift or Camburg be another alternative? I mean wouldn't that be the best option? it would also be the most expensive, but itd be done correct. I think it would mimic that of a raptor, no?
all this adds up pretty fast! just for the sake of runnin' 37s!!
