Default 3" front level kit and 1" rear kit

what size tires could I get under a 2010 f150 4x4 that will not rub? Would a 3" front and 1" rear accommodate 35" tires without any other modifications? trying to help my son fix up his first truck and make the right decision on this. thanks for any responses

3” in the front is gonna cost your son money... it will eat up cv shafts and UCA ball joints. Stick around 2-2.5” front leave the back alone for a leveled truck or add a leaf or small block to the rear fo a rake. Should be able to run 305/285...60 depending on wheels.. 35’s will fit with no other mods but, depends on what wheels and off set..

I just leveled an f 150 with bilstein 5100 so roughly 2.25 inches of lift, none in the rear ( great option if shocks need to be replaced anyways)
I put on 285/75/18 ridge grapplers measure right around 35 inches paired with 18x9 pro comp wheels with 0 offset. I had to trim my fender liners a bit and the front valence. The key is these tires are narrow, 11.2” so they would rub a bit more if I had 35x12.5.
Love the look with the 0 offset even though the tires aren’t as wide they still stick out about 1-1.5”

Techrep, would it be to our benefit to stay with 18s or go up to 20s.. We are just gonna do a 2.5" level kit. I just dont want the tires rubbing..I have a 2014 F150, put a 2" level kit on it with 295/70/18s on it, they do not rub at all.

20” tires cost more than 18’s.. 295/70/18 tires are gonna need the correct offset not to rub.
