Default 2WD 09+ front tow location

I know im not the only 2wd owner that goes off roading in my f150, so if anyone knows where i should put a tow strap on the front of my truck it would be greatly apreciated. I thought i found the right hole, but i bent the **** out of the inside of my bumper. I may eventually buy and and install tow hooks, but isnt there a place where i can hook up?

First off, that is not a tow location for any vehicle. That will destroy the axle. Second off, its a 2wd and has no front axles.
Anyone else have an idea?

Any solid frame section should suffice

"I may eventually buy and and install tow hooks"
Do that now, not someday. You need to pull directly on a frame rail.

Horrible idea. It would throw off an alignment in ifs and even an old solid axle truck could bend the axle tube.

X3 never go to an axle for pull or a control arm anything moving you want a nice rigid pull point preferably close to a cross brace but definitely not an axle good thing you don't have 4wd though lol or invest n a winch ....

My apologies. I've never done it, but someone told me that a while back. Guess he was wrong. Luckily I never had to do it.

Edit: thinking back it prob was about a fwd car since it was before I had my truck. So if that is the case is it ok to hook up to the front axel of a fwd vehicle?
