2019 Level Decision

Hi folks,

I have a 2019 F150, FX4 157" wheelbase, 20 inch wheels im looking to level the front end on. Im trying to decide between the Bilstein 6112 Coil overs or the 5100 adjustable leveling shock.

I enjoy the current feel of the stock truck in terms smooth ride, plushness and overall feel. Most of my driving is pavement with occasional slower driving, pot hole dirt roads.

Which of these 2 setup will allow me to keep that same, close to feel, or even a better feel in the terrains I travel.

The last thing i want is a rough riding truck as I get that on my F350.

OR, should I consider something else all together?

Thanks for your thoughts!

I have no experience with either of these, but stage 3 said the halolifts were very smooth riding and better than the fox 2.0's. I would probably opt for those over the 6112's. The 6112's are similar to the 5100's with a new spring. The new spring (stiffer than stock) will help but could also cause the ride to be slightly rougher depending on the valving of the 6112's.

It really comes down to how much do you want to spend. The 5100's are hard to beat at their price point, but you can definitely beat them. Just takes more $$$.

I’m running the 6112 and love them. They are beefier than the 5100 series and worth the extra money IMO. My truck rides nice, more like a truck vs the soft factory shocks.

Firstly, if you use the search tab you'll will find that this topic has been discussed over and over and over and over and over .. and you'll end up with more info than you'll ever need.
Lastly, if you want the stock ride, just get spacers and call it a day. Since they sit on top of the struts, your ride will be the same as stock. If you run taller tires, the extra sidewall will give you a softer ride
