Well I got my truck this weekend and I plan on buying some new all terrain tires and I'm going to do a 2.5 inch level kit for now with some 33 inch tires. I need some advice on what tire sizes to look into since I plan on keeping my stock 18 inch rims and most of my driving will be on the street/highway however i want something i can go play in the mud/off road with. All suggestions are appreciated.

Check out mickey Thompson atz or Goodyear duratracs. They are a nice compromise, not mud but not only street tread.

Some have run 33x12.50 and 35x12.50 just depends on what mods you want to do. You might have to adjust the crash bars a bit, or trim some plastic. Check out customwheeloffset.com they have plenty of ideas and pictures. Just type in what make, model, tire size etc. It has helped me with my decisions. Make sure you post pictures when your done.

i'm still debating on doing just a level kit and the 33s or doing a 5 inch lift and the 35s on my stock 18s

The tires on your truck should measure about 32 inches tall. If you decide to go with 33's get an accurate measurement of the tire before you buy them. I put "33's" on my truck only to find out they measured 31 inches tall an inch shorter than the stock tires. This is on an 09 FX4 I now have 35's they measure 34 inches tall and clear on the factory wheels with a 2 1/2 inch leveling kit. No rubbing at all.
