Default 2002 F-150 Sport 4x4

I am the original owner of one with 156000 miles on it. I plan on more "back road" use (USFS roads, etc.) in Arkansas when I retire later this year. I'm currently running Michelin LTX M/S tires in 255-70-16, but don't feel they're the best tire for unimproved gravel roads. I'm thinking of the BFG AT KO2 the next time I need tires. Comments?

Also, I know this truck isn't necessarily geared or powered for heavy off road use since it only has a 4.2l engine. Any suggestions for this truck before spending a lot of time on gravel back country roads aside from considering different tires? All suggestions welcome!

The BFG KO2 is an awesome A/T tire...will be great for what you plan. With 4WD on those roads you should not have any problems.

Thanks for the reply TechRep! Just out of curiosity, did you work at the Ford Assembly plant in Norfolk? My F-150 was made there! FYI- I grew up in Danville.
