Default 1976 F250 highboy lift question

If i put a 4 inch suspension lift on a 76 highboy does that make it 4 inchs above a non highboy truck or is that 4 inch lift plus the 3 inch lift that comes stock with the highboys?

With a 4" lift u will only get 1" over a stock highboy. Pointless unless your current springs are worn out.

im pretty sure skyjacker is the only one that offers a 6" lift which is exactly 2" above what the highboy's had when they were new. the 4" lifts are mainly aimed at the 77.5-79 "lowboys" to get them sitting up there with the highboys. the highboys can fit 37's stock...
